Athena Horse Camps

Grades: Entering Grades K-8, 9am-3pm

Sports: Art, Play, Yoga, and Horses

Themes:

• Mini Horse Camp, Kindergarten-2nd grade | In the Athena way, girls will start and end the day with community circles, participate in girl-powered, nature based art projects, practice yoga, and connect with gentle animals and ride mini horses. Campers will spend one hour at each station daily, followed by Team Time. No horseback riding or horse experience is necessary. All gear is provided. Bring lunch and snacks.

• Junior Horse Camp, 3rd-5th grade | In the Athena way, girls will start and end the day with opening, affirmation, and closing circles, participate daily in girl-powered art projects and discussions, practice oneness through yoga, and connection through caring for and riding horses. Campers will spend one hour at each station daily, followed by Team Time. No horseback riding or horse experience is necessary. All gear is provided. Bring lunch and snacks.

• Middle School Horse Camp, 6th-8th grade | Athena Middle School Horse Camp brings the Athena culture into the serenity of the redwoods to connect with each other and the gentle strength of horses while unifying body, mind and spirit through the practice of yoga. Campers will spend one hour at each station daily, followed by Team Time. No horseback riding or horse experience is necessary. All gear is provided. Bring lunch and snacks.
